Bunny Gunner Gallery's All U Can Eat Show

3 of my paintings--"Punch," "Orange Juice," and "A Little Water"--will be showing at Bunny Gunner's food-themed All U Can Eat show in Pomona, CA. The show opens February 11 for Pomona's 2nd Saturday Art Walk and will be up through March 3. Many great artists will be showing their work.

Bunny Gunner is located at 206 W Second Street, Pomona, CA 91766.

In early 2011, I started a new body of mixed media paintings, and after months of work, I'll be showing several of these pieces publicly for the first time. The work will all be for sale and will be up through the end of March. I'll be having an opening reception on Saturday, January 14th, and I'd love to see you there.

ART IN POMONA

One of my paintings, "The Permeating Sun,"will be displayed at Bunny Gunner gallery in Pomona, CA from this Saturday, February 12 through March 5, as a part of the gallery's show entitled "All U Can Eat." The opening reception is on Saturday from 6-11 as part of Pomona's 2nd Saturday Art Walk. It's sure to be a good time. If you decide to go, be sure to stop by the studio of Father Bill Moore, an excellent artist and a friend of mine.

AFTERLIFE PARADE

In 2010, I was asked to do the artwork for Afterlife Parade's EP entitled "Death," which released this past week. The cover image is a linocut I created specifically for this project, and I'm really happy with how this came out. Extra thanks to Jeremy Stanley for helping photograph the piece.

This is the first of two Afterlife Parade EPs that are parts of one concept, and I'll be doing the art for the second, "Rebirth," as well, creating the visuals in a similar manner. I'm aiming to have the two fit together aesthetically while reflecting the music in their respective EPs.

CHRISTMAS PRINTS

Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee releases a Christmas card each year to help their efforts of feeding the hungry. This year, I had the privilege of creating the artwork for the cards: a linocut of Union Station in Nashville, TN. You can purchase the cards and support Second Harvest here.

In conjunction with the cards, I made an edition of 15 linocut prints that match the artwork on the card. The prints are hand signed and hand numbered and printed on archival Rives BFK paper. They are available here.
